Can Daily Microfoliant replace my cleanser?

No. It is a powder exfoliant with papain, salicylic acid and rice enzymes, designed to polish cleansed skin. It does not dissolve makeup or sunscreen the way PreCleanse does, and it is not framed as a wash. Cleanse first, then polish.

Why does PreCleanse go on dry skin?

Because its job is oil dissolving oil: borage, kukui and apricot oils need direct contact with makeup and sebum. Wet skin puts a water barrier between the oil and its work, which is the most common reason owners think it underperforms at first.
